Google, Meta, Isomorphic Labs invest $300M in Zuckerberg's Biohub 'virtual cell'

Google DeepMind, Meta, and AI drug discovery startup Isomorphic Labs are jointly investing $300 million into the Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, part of a $1.8 billion initiative. Biohub, founded in 2016, aims to build a 'virtual cell' for digital biological simulation, backed by support from the US Department of Energy.
