gerardsans · x · 2026-10-07
gerardsans sparks a debate on AI lab accountability:

- Labs demonstrably steer model behavior via reward training—generation after generation of chatbots and agents prove it. If they can steer for a launch, they can fix the checks before shipping;
- Defective products shouldn't ship; if they do and fail, the lab pays.
His verdict: "Your product. Your bill."
