tlgr: a CLI for controlling Telegram accounts, built for AI agents
solyarisoftware · x · 2026-10-07
DanKornas released tlgr, a command-line interface for controlling a Telegram account from the terminal, designed for agents and automation so you don't have to build your own integration.
Key features:
- Everyday messaging: send, list, search, edit, forward, and schedule messages from the CLI
- Background daemon: keeps a long-lived Telegram connection with running/ready/health status
- Agent-ready outputs: JSON, TSV, and a command schema for tool discovery
- Event push: watch daemon events or forward Telegram events to external webhooks
- Human-in-the-loop drafts: save replies as drafts, then send or discard them from Telegram
