ReDetail 2.0: LTX-2.5 Refine-Details LoRA for 4K Upscaling on a 32GB Card
DaLyon92x · reddit · 2026-10-07
Author updated their LTX-2.5 upscale workflow, ReDetail 2.0, using Lightricks' Refine-Details IC-LoRA to rebuild fine detail while keeping faces, framing and motion close to source — a big improvement over the official Pixel LoRA.
- Tiled execution: 4K fits on a 32GB card, though a 4-second 4K clip peaked at 52GB system RAM (28GB VRAM); 768p→4K took 14 minutes on a 5090
- Author's fixes: pinned tiles to the LoRA's 1024x576 training size (the stock graph exceeded trained area by 1.8x), disconnected prompt-enhancer branches that blocked the queue on missing files, and a CLI for silent audio tracks, 8n+1 frame counts, exact scales like 1.5x, cut-based splitting and smaller chunks when RAM is short
- Across 7 test clips, Refine stayed closer to source than the Pixel upscaler, which changes faces
