In a discussion about unsolved coding problems, researcher Ofir Press said he thinks less in terms of "unsolved" and more about models doing "something people thought would take 100 years to achieve" — maybe an ffmpeg that is 20x faster with 10x less RAM. Peter Liu countered that unsolved coding problems are basically math, like P vs NP.
