After 12+ hours a day with AI, she writes again: it's not just attention loss, it's memory
LadyAshBorg · x · 2026-10-07
A heavy AI user argues that while attention loss from juggling agents and assistants gets plenty of discussion, memory gets little: context loss and chronological content layouts in AI interfaces make it hard to recollect and connect your own ideas through the tools themselves.
Her countermeasure: writing again. Let AI handle the plan and roadmap, then use her own writing to orient herself in the present and build simple connections between thoughts and artifacts — a balance against 12-14 hours of daily AI use.
