Y Combinator-backed Linc launches discovery layer that turns enterprise tribal knowledge into SOPs
ycombinator · x · 2026-10-07
Linc, a YC-affiliated startup, publicly launched what it calls the discovery layer for enterprise AI, targeting the most time-consuming part of enterprise agent projects: scoping. The team says they spent more time scoping than building.
- Much enterprise knowledge is tribal: rules about specific customers or vendors were known by people but never written down, surfacing only when implementations stalled.
- Linc combines workflow recordings with AI interviews to capture those rules and the reasoning behind them, turning them into SOPs, process maps, and a shared team memory.
- The product is already live in 20+ enterprises.
For anyone building enterprise agents, it's a case study in productizing the discovery phase.
