Brainbase partners with Stripe on Agentic Payments, letting agents buy things for you
garrytan · x · 2026-10-07
Brainbase announced Agentic Payments in partnership with Stripe: its hosted agents can now make purchases on users' behalf via secure Link checkout flows, covering use cases like booking travel, ordering office supplies, and subscribing to software.
Brainbase's core pitch is self-improving internal agents — it hosts agents, scores every run, and evaluates every change before shipping, across any model or harness (e.g. claude-code). It supports skill registries and MCP tool integrations (a demo wires NetSuite for invoice matching and inventory decisions), and claims 10,000+ agents in production.
