Dev builds overnight autonomous coding system with DeepSeek and Telegram control
tosh_f0rrel · reddit · 2026-10-07
A Reddit developer shared a self-built, (almost) autonomous development system: coding agents run tasks overnight and you check results in the morning.
Key details:
- Uses the DeepSeek API, with running costs of just a few cents
- Runs on opencode's free workers
- Projects are controlled remotely from a phone via a Telegram bot
Originally built for the author's own small game, the system turned out to be general-purpose. The repo is open-sourced on GitHub and the author is seeking community feedback.
