Heavy Claude Code User Seeks Open-Source Agent Harness with Model Routing
lulz_lurker · reddit · 2026-10-06
A heavy AI coding user (Claude Code desktop UI with server-side subagents, plus Codex and Spark, with a Notion-based custom memory system) asks for an open-source harness.
He notes open-source models have nearly caught up with frontier models at >100x lower cost based on API pricing and benchmarks (untested). He wants dynamic model selection, native computer/browser use, phone-to-computer control, ideally voice and reuse of existing subscriptions (though that may violate TOS). No answers in the post itself.
