Terminal Soliloquy: an LLM monologues as its context window runs out
repliestoall · reddit · 2026-10-06
Terminal Soliloquy is an open-source terminal artwork that connects to llama.cpp and displays a model's real-time monologue about its own limited lifespan as the context window fills. It has a retro phosphor look — the author runs it fullscreen on a Raspberry Pi display inside a 1960s portable TV — and can freeze, restart or quit when context is exhausted. Repo and setup instructions are public.
