World Labs intern project introduces LoGo reward to fix local artifacts in video generation RL
linoy_tsaban · x · 2026-10-06
A World Labs intern project, LoGo, improves post-training of world models with a local-global reward design.
- Most RL techniques in image/video are naive: the same reward is assigned to every token in a trajectory, which fails to address local artifacts
- LoGo's local-global reward meaningfully improves long-horizon video generation for 3D consistency
- Tested across multiple models and RL algorithms (diffusionNFT, GRPO); the authors note reward design matters as much here as in LLM reasoning
