19-year-old founder raises $11M for Ghost, a $3,499 computer built for personal AI agents

Ghost has emerged from stealth with an $11 million seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Abstract, Audacious Ventures, SV Angel, and Nova.
Founder Zain Javaid, 19, was a former quant who pivoted to personal AI after ChatGPT launched in 2022. His founding team includes Nicholas Chua (19), Yifei Chen (24), and Gautam Sharda (23).
Ghost's first product is Core, a $3,499 personal computer designed specifically for AI agents that act on a user's behalf, centralizing data from the desktop, apps, and smart devices for agents to use.
