Timothy Lee pushes back: Tesla has made real progress rolling out unsupervised FSD in a few geofenced areas, Waymo-style — which he argued for in 2024 while Tesla fans insisted the tech was more general than Waymo's. But the actual 2024 question was nationwide unsupervised FSD within two years; that hasn't happened and he doubts it will before year's end.
