NVIDIA Dynamo lets coding agents point at self-hosted endpoints with native tracing
TheZachMueller · x · 2026-10-06
NVIDIA dev 0xishand details Dynamo as a frontend for coding agents: it exposes v1/chat/completions, v1/responses and v1/messages, so any agent using these APIs (Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, etc.) can talk to a Dynamo deployment even if not officially listed.
The standout is native tracing and replay: Dynamo understands coding-agent session headers and normalizes session IDs. Setting DYNREQUESTTRACE=1 records request traces (e.g. tracing compaction in Claude Code) to /tmp for replay and visualization. Server-side tools as part of dynamo are in iteration and may be open-sourced soon.
