Longtime User Cancels Personal ChatGPT for Meta's Muse, Citing Personal Agents
ThomasScialom · x · 2026-10-05
Meta's Thomas Scialom quoted a longtime personal ChatGPT subscriber who canceled his subscription (he still uses ChatGPT via Enterprise). The breaking point: personal agents — he's now "Muse-pilled" for his personal life.
His reasons: he uses Meta Ray-Bans, has started playing with the Muse Gadget SDK, is hopeful about Meta's Confidential VM for privacy, and likes Meta's direction toward personal superintelligence — while acknowledging Meta's poor privacy track record. He still primarily uses ChatGPT for work.
