Panasonic building its own humanoid robot, targeting 2029 production in its own factories

Panasonic is developing its own humanoid robot with production targeted by 2029, with first units expected in the company's own factories and warehouses for real-world testing. Panasonic Industry has been releasing videos since July covering integrated servo motors, pressure and tactile sensors, supercapacitors, flexible circuit substrates and lightweight materials, targeting factories, logistics, caregiving and homes. A dedicated AI and Robotics R&D division has been set up.
