Menlo Ventures' Matt Murphy Leads Factory AI Investment, Joined by Deedy
matanSF · x · 2026-10-05
Factory AI founder matanSF announced that Menlo Ventures is investing in FactoryAI, led by Matt Murphy — the investor who led Anthropic's Series D in January 2024, when Claude 2.1 was still its best model. Deedy (deedydas) is also joining as an investor, with matanSF joking he first downloaded Deedy's ShareLaTeX resume template back in 2014. The takeaway from the team: we're still so early.
