dronegeo: simulation study compares racing drone geometries on lap times
DominiqueCAPaul · x · 2026-10-05
Janne Stiefel built dronegeo, a self-made simulation pipeline that, given a racing drone's design parameters, simulates its performance across different tracks. The study compares geometries like SY250, NSY75 and HS80, publishing lap times, energy use, speed caps (43.3 m/s), cruise and hover power for each design in an explorable, step-by-step web format.
