Ambion 0.6.0 ships code mode and macros: skills as name-invocable procedures for agents
andreisavu · x · 2026-10-04
Open-source agent framework Ambion released 0.6.0 with code mode and macros. Every Pi, Claude and Codex seat can now compose multiple tool calls into one; a skill stores a procedure as a macro the model runs by name instead of re-deriving steps. Ambion is pitched as a collaboration kernel: rooms are shared journals where humans and agents on any framework contribute, each agent with its own owner, instructions, model, and executor, reaching the world via a shared toolset (files, processes, snapshots, tables, repos, skills).
