Gemini's Google Photos integration is still country-locked, US partially excluded
gaganghotra_ · x · 2026-10-04
Users discovered that Gemini's Google Photos gallery integration is only available in a long country list, with parts of the US excluded. Requirements per Google's help doc: a personal Google account (work/school/supervised excluded), age 18+, Keep Activity on, and Face Groups plus location-estimation settings enabled. Once connected, Gemini can search photos, videos and memories and personalize based on gallery data. Not supported in Gemini in Google Messages or Live chats.
