xAI Launches Grok Bot: AI Teammates That Log Into Your Tools and Finish Work Autonomously
elonmusk · x · 2026-10-04
Elon Musk shared the launch page for xAI's Grok Bot, pitched as "AI teammates that finish the work."
Key capabilities:
- Delegate like a colleague: assign tasks on desktop or iOS; Bots sign in to your apps and websites (e.g., Zendesk), operate them like you would, and return with finished work, checking in only for approvals
- Parallel multi-Bot teams: spin up multiple Bots per function (sales outbound, talent scouting, paid media, expense management, chief of staff, etc.) that pass work to each other in shared threads
- Learn by demonstration: show a Bot a workflow once and it saves it as a routine to run autonomously
- Growing memory: Bots retain context and learn from each other, e.g., remembering a client only signs annual deals
A macOS client and enterprise sales channel are also available — a notable push by xAI from models into autonomous agent products.
