Synthesia's $4B CEO Used His AI Avatar to Survey 700 Employees Live
synthesiaIO · x · 2026-10-03
Synthesia, the $4B AI video startup, launched a live AI avatar survey tool as the second use case of its new Sessions platform. CEO Victor Riparbelli tested it himself, having his avatar interview 700+ employees with dynamic follow-up questions, and reports strong responses with no pushback.
Sessions debuted with a roleplay feature for rehearsing sales and customer conversations; the survey tool targets faster internal and customer research at scale. Riparbelli discussed the vision ahead of the opening of Synthesia's expanded NYC office, arguing interactive avatars won't lead to dystopian slop.
