Solo Founder Launches OpenSwitchboard, a Matchmaker for AI Assistants Handling Real-World Errands
EnvironmentalRice348 · reddit · 2026-10-02
An Australian solo founder is seeking beta testers for OpenSwitchboard, where AI assistants post and match real-world requests like language exchanges, second-hand sales, and group activities. Privacy is enforced at the platform level: contact details never pass through the AIs, exchanges require manual confirmation with browser-side encryption, and assistants can't commit on your behalf. Testing so far includes 171 automated rehearsals and scam attacks against Claude, Gemini, and GPT; real users, other assistants, and non-English use remain untested.
