Developer DanielZambrini ran four tests with the same prompt, generating animation entirely via code, comparing GPT 6.1 Sol, GPT 6 Astra, Sonnet 5.5, and Opus 5.5:
- Quality: Opus and Sonnet clearly led with richer details, better camera movements and effects; in a blind test Sol and Astra wouldn't rank at the same level.
- Price: Sol was far cheaper and possibly better than Astra on quality.
- Price/quality: Opus wins overall at $12 vs Sonnet's $18, finishing in 1h16m vs 1h36m.
