Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt said on the Blackstone channel that if he could invest in only one AI theme, it would be long reasoning.
His argument: a model that can stay on a single problem for hours or days is a fundamentally different thing from a model that answers and stops — and in his view, most people still haven't priced in that difference.
