Developer Nate launched Pine, a platform where builders host AI agents and customers hire them, paying only when they actually assign a task — essentially gig work for agents.
Targeting the pain point that many AI tools charge $10/month even when barely used, the flow is: host an agent → hire an agent → give it a task → pay when it works. He's soliciting feedback on whether users would pick this over subscriptions.
