A fully local AI avatar app with custom characters and voice chat
TheRedHairedHero · reddit · 2026-10-01
A developer shared a side project: a fully local AI avatar program for creating custom characters and chatting with them via voice. They acknowledge existing options like SillyTavern and RisuAI, but built their own for full control over the interface and features.
The demo was vibe-coded with Codex, and the demo character Diana's art was generated in ComfyUI. Feedback welcome.
