Tulip engineers a replayable factory with NVIDIA Cosmos and Metropolis VSS, fusing video and telemetry
NVIDIA Developer · youtube · 2026-10-01
An NVIDIA Developer session walks through Factory Playback, built by Tulip engineers Rony Kubat and Alvin Clark. Using NVIDIA Cosmos and NVIDIA Metropolis video search and summarization, the system turns machine telemetry, operator workflows, and video into a single replayable record of what actually happened on the factory floor.
Manufacturing data usually shows what happened but almost never why; replaying operations changes incident reconstruction from dashboard archaeology and memory. The hard part is time alignment. Session includes Q&A, with links to a technical blog and the Metropolis VSS blueprint.
