Native 1080p output: spend expensive compute only after creative decisions are locked
mhdfaran · x · 2026-10-01
The author highlights why native 1080p matters in AI video workflows: the final output is not a stretched or enhanced 480p video. This is distinct from Creative Upscale, whose job is specifically to enhance a finished low-res video to 4K — two separate stages for two separate problems.
The workflow: make cheap guesses → guess again → fix the camera → fix the motion → pick the one that clicks → then render 1080p. Expensive compute happens only after the creative decision is made.
