An executive at Reply says 90% of the DMs and connection requests he receives pitch AI workshops or 'agentic transformation' — without any research on the recipient, despite his 20-year ML background and the company's agentic AI client work. His point: if you're selling AI expertise, using agentic AI to research your prospect should be the first use case; skipping it destroys credibility, and the first sentence usually gives the automation away.
