Town founder: multiplayer is the moat for AI assistants — agents that ask each other for answers

The founder of AI assistant product Town argues the moat in AI assistants will be multiplayer, not single-user capability. In Town, when your assistant (townie) doesn't know something, it can figure out that another user's townie might, ask it, and bring the answer back. Once a whole team is on this mesh, going back to siloed assistants is unthinkable. He believes nobody has truly cracked multi-user AI yet — and that's where network effects will come from. He discussed this with Harry Stebbings on 20VC.
