LTX 2.3 Obscura removal fails: asked to delete chairs, model removed couches and carpet instead
robertwellesley · reddit · 2026-09-30
A user's testing of LTX 2.3 Obscura's video element removal shows repeated failures: asking to remove chairs flanking a kitchen island, the model removed the foreground couches instead; rerunning the same prompt on the couch-free version, it removed the carpet. A second use case — removing sneakers beside a woman on a couch — did nothing at all, even after the prompt was made far more specific. The author questions how such models get released and asks whether a MiniMax-based alternative actually works.
