Dev Launches Anonymous Tech Confessions Site, AI Coding Sins Steal the Show
ayushtweetshere · x · 2026-09-30
Indie developer Ayush launched techconfessions.lol, an anonymous confession board for tech workers, which missed the Product Hunt front page but is racking up laughs with AI-era confessions: a marketer checking keyword rankings mid-wedding-vows, a founder whose Loom competitor crashed on export so he demoed it with Loom, Google's AI answer paraphrasing a #1 article and cutting its traffic 70% ("the answer's really good though — I wrote it"), and a Cursor user accepting 400 suggestions by mashing Tab without reading a line.
He also boosted his friend's SEO tool CrawlRaven on Product Hunt — whose MCP he uses daily with Claude — this time reaching #1 after a previous #4 finish.
