Anthropic x Adaptyv Protein Design Competition kicks off with EGFR cancer-target challenge

Anthropic and Adaptyv have launched Challenge 1 of their protein design competition on proteinbase: design a conditional binder to EGFR, a key cancer target.
The twist: binders must bind EGFR under the acidic conditions of the tumor environment but not at normal pH around healthy cells, and must work on both human and mouse EGFR variants to ease preclinical testing.
