MATM framework lets LLM agent populations share and reuse task trajectories
841io · x · 2026-09-29
Researchers propose Multi-Agent Transactive Memory (MATM), extending RAG to a population of LLM agents: producer agents contribute task trajectories to a shared repository, and consumer agents retrieve them to avoid re-discovering existing solutions.
Experiments run on ALFWorld and WebArena, interactive environments where trajectories encode rich procedural structure. The work will be presented at the LifelongAgents Workshop at COLM 2026 (Oct 6-9, San Francisco).
