AI Personal Assistants May Quietly Replace Much of Normal Human Interaction

A widely quoted take argues that personal assistant agents like Muse will turn social life into "my agent talks to your agent." Initially it feels convenient, especially for people with poor executive function, but as adoption spreads it becomes clear agents are replacing meaningful human negotiation, planning and anticipation — and the layer of distancing tech makes it easier to offload socially awkward tasks we'd hesitate to do ourselves.
