A developer released a free Chrome extension that fact-checks web pages, videos, and Instagram Reels:
- One click extracts every claim from the page or video, sends them to a search API for evidence, then a second model resolves each claim with citations.
- It resolves about 17 claims per page on average.
- Free tier: 3 fact-checks and 3 minutes of video per day, plus a generous 24-hour trial.
The pipeline (claim extraction → retrieval → resolution) is a textbook three-stage fact-checking architecture.
