Whisper Free (0.3.7 beta) is a free Windows x64 dictation app bundling its speech model locally — no account, API key, or cloud transcription. It supports custom name aliases, switching typing fields while recording, a glass-style recorder UI, and optional local history/export. Caveats: unsigned binary, unencrypted local history on by default, password fields block auto-insertion; off-box dictation and Cursor insertion confirmed on one PC.
