The author reframes project planning for the AI era: it used to be enough to ask what state the project must be in to survive a multi-day disruption. Now you must also ask what state you must be in, since AI can push work to a described end state while your internal understanding of the project — the knowledge that informs the way forward — doesn't automatically come along. Maintaining your own comprehension becomes a first-class planning dimension.
