DHH says we're entering a post-development era — but why obsess over Rust?

Responding to DHH's claim that we're entering a "post-development" era, Kristoph says he doesn't dispute the trend but finds the fixation on Rust curious: AI models don't care whether code is Rust, C, C++, or Go. And arguing Rust is "safer" seems goofy when you're not reading any of the AI-generated code and have no idea what it does — worrying that other languages are 'less safe' in that context doesn't hold up.
