Teacher experiments with prompts that make ChatGPT challenge students' thinking, not write for them

A teacher is exploring how to teach students to use ChatGPT well for academic work instead of banning it.
- Rather than asking for "a critical discussion of X", students feed the model their own arguments and ask it to challenge reasoning, surface hidden assumptions, ask probing questions, suggest unconsidered counterarguments, or give clarity feedback on drafts.
- The plan includes showing deliberately bad prompts next to better ones, to discuss where "using AI to support my thinking" becomes "letting AI do my thinking".
