At the Snapdragon Summit, Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon argued the phone stays at the center of agentic AI, with laptops, glasses, wearables and cars as endpoints. Analyst Carolina Milanesi notes this mirrors Apple's 'intelligent personal hub' framing — but Qualcomm, controlling only silicon while Apple designs chip, OS and hardware, is deliberately organizing around its dependency on Google, Microsoft and device makers to give Android its best shot at a seamless cross-device AI experience.
