Block joins x402 Foundation to build agentic payments rails with Bitcoin Lightning

Block has joined the x402 Foundation, an open standard for agentic payments, to help build rails letting people, businesses, and AI agents pay and get paid. Block also contributed Bitcoin Lightning payments, purpose-built for the instant, low-cost, high-volume transactions agentic commerce depends on.
