After two flawless Tesla Robotaxi rides, a third dropped the author at the wrong location — and in-car support couldn't see his set destination, wouldn't dispatch another car or issue a refund, and repeatedly insisted he had arrived. His take: the Cybercab and the cameras-only, no-LiDAR approach look solid, but software glitches plus helpless support turn an awe-inspiring ride into a maddening one.
