Perplexity launches Portable Computer for Windows with local execution across Slack, Gmail and Drive

Perplexity has released Portable Computer, available to all Consumer and Enterprise Pro and Max subscribers via the Perplexity app for Windows.
The feature works across connected apps like Slack, Gmail, and Google Drive, as well as files on your device. Because tasks run entirely locally, your files, data, and answers stay on-device — and running tasks locally doesn't consume Computer credits.
