Developer simonsmith used ChatGPT Voice with plugins on his phone during a long walk, triaging email, adding to-dos, and reviewing his calendar — without ever looking at a screen. He argues the desktop app and Codex remote can theoretically do this but never worked smoothly, making the voice+plugins combo more consequential than it appears. The retweeter notes it's another big step toward voice for everything, having used S-GPT for voice back in April 2023.
