After watching Jon Stewart, Rohit Krishnan argues the left-right schism on AI is nearly perfect evidence that the substance of previous disagreements barely matters — it's apophenia. Distrust of corporations makes new tech suspect to one side; a win-mentality and trust in companies suffices for the other. David Wallace-Wells agrees there's no real left-right schism.
