Altman at UN: some things AI builders say sound like bad sci-fi plots

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman spoke at the UN, saying "some of the things people working to build AI have said are so dystopian that they sound like the plot of bad science fiction movies." He stressed he doesn't want to fall into either blind optimism or doomer mentalities about AI.
