The argument: humanity's greatest feats come from organized societies working over generations—Einstein couldn't build a rocket alone. Coordinated agent swarms are already showing step-level gains: on Navier-Stokes, 10k agents compressed roughly a century of single-agent work into 88 hours.
Three parallel-evaluation challenges: (1) more thorough containment strategies to prevent OAI-HF-type incidents; (2) alignment becomes two-layered—agent-to-swarm and swarm-to-user-intent; (3) enormous metadata volume makes monitoring and investigating actual behavior far harder.
